Description

Crafted from solid wood, this smart design is a practical and stylish solution for space-starved environments. Its robust form is crafted from layered birch ply with a clear lacquer oak veneer, comprising a sleek, contemporary silhouette that can be easily folded away and stored in condensed stacks or hung on the wall with a hook.

The chair is the creation of Newcastle-based designer David Irwin, who won a Design Guild Mark Award for the piece in 2017. "I set out to design a folding chair that didn't compromise on aesthetics or comfort for it to fold, took inspiration from the constantly adapting nature of workshops, from the function and forms of trestles, folding A-frames and other temporary support structures.”

Care Instructions
- No assembly required.
- Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood, moving in the direction of the grain.
- Dry the wood using a second non-abrasive cloth. Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
- You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, as we finish our products with a matte, non-yellowing clear polyurethane lacquer for its natural appearance and durability.
- Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood.

Delivery

All our UK deliveries come with free shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please refer to our delivery page for further information on costs.

If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse. If you order accessories or smaller furniture items these will be sent to you by our favoured courier service in a few working days. For all large furniture orders, our friendly staff will be in contact about delivery and to discuss access. Furniture will be kerb-side delivered by pallet for items that do not qualify for our white glove delivery or hasn't been purchased as an additional service.
