  • Description

    Japanese designer Shin Azumi designed the Loku Chair Tubular Base making good use of the efficient methods of three dimensional (3D) veneer ply technology, which allows the seat to be moulded into a shape, making it both comfortable and supportive. The moulded seat and back is made from a thin plywood veneer that can be shaped when heated into tight curves to stiffen the material.

    The Loku Chair Tubular Base is available with a wood and metal or steel tube base, in oak or walnut plywood. This stacking chair was designed for both commercial and residential use, accommodating a variety of different situations.

    No assembly required.

     

    The Loku collection was awarded the prestigious Design Guild Mark in 2016. The Design Guild Mark is awarded by The Furniture Makers Company in order to drive excellence and raise the profile of British design and innovation. It recognises the highest standards in the design of furnishings and lighting for volume production, by the finest designers working in Britain, or British designers working abroad.

    • No assembly required.
    • Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood, moving in the direction of the grain.
    • Dry the wood using a second non-abrasive cloth. Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
    • You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, as we finish our products with a matte, non-yellowing clear polyurethane lacquer for its natural appearance and durability.
    • Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood.

    All our UK deliveries come with free shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please refer to our delivery page for further information on costs.

     

     If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse.
