      Lap Shelving Tall by award-winning designer Marina Bautier is a modular storage solution designed with simplicity in mind. Whether you need a single shelving unit for an alcove or an entire wall of shelving in an office, Lap Shelving Tall is adaptable to work in different environments.

      Starting with a single unit, you can add extensions to provide you with enough storage. Choose from a frame filled entirely with sturdy steel shelving to house your collection of tomes, or a mixture of trays, deep & shallow boxes with shelves to store a variety of paperbacks and objects.

      Marina designed the shelving system with this modularity and adaptability from realising the strange way people store objects in a box or on a tray that is then placed on a shelf. Instead, her solution removes the need for a shelf replacing it with a powder-coated steel metal box or tray that hangs from the solid oak frame.

      The name ""Lap"" refers to how the metal overlaps the wood structure. How you arrange the components is up to you, and they can be rearranged at any time.

    • Care Instructions
      • Two-person assembly required.
      • Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood timber and powder-coated metal, moving in the direction of the wood grain.
      • Dry your wood timber and powder-coated metal using a second non-abrasive cloth.
      • Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
      • You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, as we finish our products with a matte, non-yellowing clear polyurethane lacquer for its natural appearance and durability.
      • Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood timber.

      All our UK deliveries come with free shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please refer to our delivery page for further information on costs.

      If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse. If you order accessories or smaller furniture items these will be sent to you by our favoured courier service in a few working days. For all large furniture orders, our friendly staff will be in contact about delivery and to discuss access. Furniture will be kerb-side delivered by pallet for items that do not qualify for our white glove delivery or hasn't been purchased as an additional service.
