The Eos Platform Lounger is designed by Matthew Hilton and provides somewhere to recline outdoors together with a convenient side table that can be placed on either side and used for resting belongings.

The lounger complements the rest of the Eos collection, featuring a lightweight design with clean lines and smart proportions. Its frame is made from powder-coated aluminium – a premium material that resists weathering and rusting over time – while the seat comprises UV-resistant Textilene fabric that’s finished with discreet wheels and floor glides.

Convenient to move, the Eos Platform Lounger is an elegant piece that fits seamlessly in even the most compact of schemes, whether contemporary or classic. Choose from a smart finish in black, white or rust to suit your taste and space.

The Eos outdoor furniture collection was awarded the prestigious Design Guild Mark in 2016. The Design Guild Mark is awarded by The Furniture Makers Company in order to drive excellence and raise the profile of British design and innovation. It recognises the highest standards in the design of furnishings and lighting for volume production, by the finest designers working in Britain, or British designers working abroad.

Care Instructions

Eos is designed to be totally maintenance and rust-free. Aluminium furniture does not rust, but if the powder coating is damaged it could peel. To prevent this, touch up the surface with a matching car or metal paint. It is extremely hard-wearing and can be exposed to the elements throughout the year.

The aluminium chairs are stackable, and powder-coated ensuring they are anti-corrosive and long-lasting. All tables and chairs are finished with rubber feet to protect the furniture and patio from scratching and excessive noise.

In a garden environment the atmosphere contains many impurities, which over time can create a layer of dirt on the furniture. Should such a build-up occur, then a non-abrasive sponge or soft brush can be used with lukewarm water to clean the surface of the product. We recommend cleaning the product at least once a season.

The seat pad is made from Texteline (a high strength polyesters with a PVC compound) which is showerproof and will dry within 1-2 hours. As the Texteline is double layered, water can sometimes store between the layers, especially if it has rained heavily. If this is the case, it is advisable to tap the sling a couple of times to help the water drain out, which will aid the drying process.

If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse. If you order accessories or smaller furniture items these will be sent to you by our favoured courier service in a few working days. For all large furniture orders, our friendly staff will be in contact about delivery and to discuss access. Furniture will be kerb-side delivered by pallet for items that do not qualify for our white glove delivery or hasn't been purchased as an additional service.
