Case meets with Ashley & Co founder Jackie Ashley to talk skin, design and wellness, and finding 'me time' in today's busy world.

We understand how important is to have time for yourself to prepare for the day ahead. Can you tell us about your morning beauty ritual?

Being a busy Mum limits the time that you have to get ready each morning. My morning beauty ritual is fairly swift - wash, moisturise, Vitamin C, sunscreen, makeup and a spritz of perfume. Sitting on my dressing table are all the essentials – best of fragrance, Ashley & Co Once Upon & Time body lotion and my makeup pottle’s. Currently my favourite is the RMS range – tiny, jars, pure natural coconut base which will leave you made up, fresh and dewy, without the feeling of too much make up!

How do you balance a busy modern lifestyle, whilst making time for well-being and taking care of your skin?

Holistically, I feel that your overall well-being and good skin go hand in hand. I tend to exercise early mornings, so not to interrupt my day. My Mother In Law passed on the best advice, to get yourself up and ready prior to getting everyone else ready, and it’s true! It sounds cliché, but drinking lots of water throughout the day and applying sunscreen ritually each morning is a vital part of taking care of my skin. Scenting my surroundings also plays a part in my overall well-being – even simply tasks, like lighting a candle every evening.

At Case we believe that quality and modern aesthetics are fundamental to happy interiors. What does good design mean to you?

I do feel good design is subjective. Although, innovation and the thoughtful process behind design are two aspects which make a product or piece even better

The lucky winner will receive The Pala Dressing Table in oak worth £998 from Case and a handful of products including a Cleansing Bar, Body Lotion, Hand Wash, Scented Candle and a Home Diffuser worth £154 from Ashley & Co. This competition is now closed. The Winner is Sharon Beaman
