How to Prepare for Our Warehouse Sale
When it comes to maximising your time and budget at our warehouse sale, the more prepared you are the better. This is a rare opportunity to purchase some of our timeless furniture at reduced prices. You'll be able to choose from a large range of pieces including ex-display, discontinued items, and more current lines. Stock will be replenished each day to give everyone the chance to bring home an item to cherish.
Check out our guide below on how best to prepare:
1. Measure Your Space
Before heading to the sale, take detailed measurements of the rooms where you're looking to add more furniture. Be sure to check dimensions of doorways, stairwells and lifts, to make sure larger items can be moved in without issues. It’s a good idea to bring a tape measure with you on the day so you can double-check dimensions on the spot.
2. Plan Your Transport Options
Decide in advance whether you’ll take advantage of the flat-rate shipping (an additional cost) or transport the furniture yourself. If you plan to pick up items on the day, consider renting a van ahead of time. Bring along moving essentials like blankets, straps, and towels to protect the furniture during transit. It’s also wise to bring someone with you to manage any heavy lifting.
3. Set a Budget and Prioritise
Establish a clear budget before the sale to avoid overspending. Make a list of the furniture pieces you need most - like a new sofa, dining table, or storage unit - and prioritise them. Don’t forget to factor in any additional costs such as shipping fees or vehicle rental if you’re transporting items yourself.
4. Arrive Early and Be Strategic
To shop the best selection, we advise booking an early access ticket via our event page here, which will give you access one hour before general admission. Stock will be replenished for the Sunday sale, so if you can't make it down on Saturday, rest assured there will still be plenty of furniture to choose from.
5. Inspect and Decide Quickly
We will have limited stock on the day and all sales are final, so take the time to inspect each item carefully for any damage or missing parts. If you find something you love, don’t hesitate as items can sell out quickly. Ask staff if you need information about assembly or care instructions to ensure you’re fully prepared once you get the item home.
See you there.
