Going Native in London's America Square
In conjunction with interior design agency Utility Projects, we supplied living and dining room furniture for these modern serviced apartments to fit within the style of the Mid-Century building.
The newly-developed modern apartments at 3 America Square are positioned within the magnificent Mid-Century modern development, nestled amongst a plethora of office blocks and some of London's most recognisable landmarks including Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
With panoramic views of the Gherkin offering a stunning backdrop to work, entertain or simply unwind, every detail in these spacious luxury apartments is delectable. From the luxury fixtures and fittings to the discerning blend of marble, wood and leather, this contemporary corporate accommodation lends itself to comfort, luxury and privacy within the City.
"Each apartment is arranged to live in, not just pass through, with its own mix of re-editioned twentieth century chairs and lights, super-comfy sofas, one-off textiles, hand-knotted rugs, original prints and paintings, books on the shelf and well-stocked kitchens; altogether elegant, eclectic and familiar, as you would like home to be" says Amanda Culpin of Utility Projects.
Having recently updated the 1952 designed 675 Chair by Robin Day, we saw an obvious synergy for this iconic chair within the Mid-Century building. This was put together in the dining room with the simple and elegant Lap Shelving System which provided book storage, and useful temporary storage without taking up valuable space. The sofas supplied were different depending on the apartment, but both are naturally inviting and comfortable for the guests to use after a busy day in the city. Finally, the outdoor space was furnished with our simple Eos garden furniture for the warm London evenings.
