Located within the historic Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, the Goodwood Art Foundation is a new cultural destination where contemporary art, landscape and learning come together in a setting designed to inspire.
Case Furniture was specified throughout the Foundation's café and outdoor dining spaces, with a collection of indoor and outdoor furniture selected to complement the considered architecture while meeting the demands of a busy public environment.
Inside the café, Profile Chairs by Matthew Hilton were specified in solid oak and upholstered in Kvadrat Remix, supplied as COM (Customer's Own Material) to create a bespoke finish that sits seamlessly within the interior palette. Combining refined detailing with lasting comfort, the Profile Chair offers a timeless aesthetic suited to hospitality settings.
Outside, the terrace is furnished with Eos Armchairs and Eos Square Tables, both in Rust. Also designed by Matthew Hilton, the Eos collection is engineered for long-term outdoor performance, combining clean, architectural lines with weather-resistant materials that make it ideal for commercial environments.
The carefully selected furniture creates welcoming spaces for visitors to pause, gather and reflect during their day at the foundation.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful furniture specification can support cultural spaces that encourage people to connect with art and nature.
