The design process for Perez starts by collecting images of artworks and architecture - alongside colours, materials and shapes that inspire her. Recently Perez has begun to explore pottery, enjoying the fast-paced and organic nature of creating objects from clay.

The playful design of the Altura Bench is the work of Patricia Perez, who named the piece after the Spanish word for ‘height.’ This moniker is inspired by the bench’s double-level design that allows for optimum versatility and convenience.

It’s a strikingly contemporary timber design, characterised by clean lines and curving edges, that can be used for all manner of storage and display purposes.

To prolong the life of the product and retain its appearance and functionality, we would like to give you some relevant information and care advice:

This product is manufactured using solid oak and oak veneered plywood. The product comes in either a black stain or natural oak finish.

Craftsmen manufacture this product and there is variety between each unit. This is because wood is a natural product, with natural colour and grain variations. It is recommended that no abrasive cleaners or solvents are used to clean the unit.

Natural timber is affected by sunlight; this can can the wood colour to darken. For this reason (especially if placed in direct sunlight) it is recommended that placing objects in the same position for long periods of time is avoided. This potential colour adjustment becomes less relevant as the product ages.

It is recommended that no abrasive cleaners or solvents are used to clean the unit. Please only use proprietary furniture polishes or alternatively, warm water with a diluted mild detergent.

Take care when stepping on the unit in shoes, as this may damage the top veneered surface.

All our UK orders come with free shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please refer to our delivery page for further information.

If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse. If you order accessories or smaller furniture items these will be sent to you by our favoured courier service in a few working days. For all large furniture orders, our friendly staff will be in contact to arrange delivery and confirm access. Furniture not delivered by our white glove service will delivered to kerb-side by pallet.
