Designed as a 'haven for wanderers with purpose', the Arlo Hotel was created as a hub for urban explorers and has won countless awards for its bold and innovative design scheme.

Facing the challenge of limited space in New York City, this hotel brand aimed to turn small rooms into a selling point by offering the best essentials, without excess. With the design scheme envisioned by acclaimed firm AvroKO, they were able to ‘bring to life Arlo Hotels’ mission of connecting hotel guests to local communities by creating spaces where guests’ needs are anticipated, quality is prioritised, and self-reliance is encouraged,”

“The design reflects a sense of refinement and considered simplicity. The idea is to provide travelers with an ideal home base that gives them exactly what they need in order to be comfortable and efficient while encouraging interaction with other guests and members of the community.”- Matt Goodrich, AvroKO’s chief creative officer.

To reflect the considered simplicity of the design scheme, Case supplied via Design Within Reach, the Eos Sun Lounger designed by Matthew Hilton. Winner of the Design Guild Mark award in 2016, the contemporary Eos Range was inspired by the Greek goddess of dawn and bringer of light due to it's clean minimal lines and lightweight structure.

The Eos Lounger is constructed from powder-coated aluminium that resists weathering and rusting making it ideal for use outdoor. The comfortable sling seat is crafted from all-weather Textilene® and it is finished with two discreet wheels and plastic floor glides, making it easy to follow the sun! The stackable feature of the Eos Sun Lounger also made it an ideal choice for the Arlo Hotel, which enables the loungers to be stored compactly when needed to save on space.
