Matthew Hilton furniture is built in the belief of creating furniture that people live with. His inspiration often comes from long-established furniture forms. He doesn’t believe in design movements, and he really doesn’t like the concept of design as a fashion.

Product details

The strikingly contemporary form of the Strata Shelving unit is the work of esteemed British designer Matthew Hilton.

Available in oak, walnut and black stain, the staggered back panels create a playfully asymmetrical piece capable of adding a touch of modern flair to liven up any living space.

For added versatility, the shelves are available in individual sections that can be combined with as many additional units as needed to create wider storage.

Care Instructions

Two-person assemly required.
Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood, moving in the direction of the grain.
Dry the wood using a second non-abrasive cloth. Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, as we finish our products with a matte, non-yellowing clear polyurethane lacquer for its natural appearance and durability.
Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood.

Delivery

All our UK orders come with free shipping. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please refer to our delivery page for further information.

If an item is shown as ‘in stock’ on the website, these are located in our London showroom or UK warehouse. If you order accessories or smaller furniture items these will be sent to you by our favoured courier service in a few working days. For all large furniture orders, our friendly staff will be in contact to arrange delivery and confirm access. Furniture not delivered by our white glove service will delivered to kerb-side by pallet.
