We launched our Loku chair at Maison & Objet last year and received much praise for this slender piece by Japanese designer Shin Azumi. For Milan Furniture Fair we have extended this popular range to include a stool, bar stool, cafe table and bar tables at two heights.

Making good use of the efficient methods of three dimensional (3D) plywood technology, the Loku collection is moulded into shape by heating and pressing thin plywood veneer into tight curves to stiffen the material. The tables are made from a steel base with a wood laminate table top for durability, which makes it perfect for restaurants and cafes. designjunction edit Milan launched in 2013 in the Brera Design District. The show presented 20 cutting-edge design brands against the renowned backdrop, Pelota. In 2014, edit Milan transported to 18th century museum, Palazzo Morando, and presented 25 contemporary design brands including Stellar Works, Baroncelli and Resident. The 2015 edition of edit Milan was set against the derelict surrounds of disused school Casa dellโ€™Opera in Milanโ€™s city centre. More than 30 international brands, an onsite cafรฉ by Case Furniture, an immersive lighting experience by Tom Dixon and a VIP garden haven by MONOQI transformed the school into a creative hub for design and culture. In Milan you will be able to see this new collection at designjunction edit Milan, in the entrance cafe along with a display inside the building.
