Case returned to the renowned Milan Furniture Fair at Edit by designjunction and showed the new Vitrina cabinet by Hierve Design Consultancy and launched new additions to the Eos outdoor furniture collection designed by Matthew Hilton.

Launched during Maison et Objet in January 2013, the Vitrina cabinet designed by Hierve Design Consultancy won international acclaim with the visitors to the show. A striking combination of display cabinet and shelving unit, the Vitrina is a stylish storage and display system that features bold colours and constructed from solid oak, painted MDF and glass.

Translating as window cabinet in Spanish, the Vitrina collection consists of two different cabinets that blend solid wood, glass, colour (including bright orange). A distinctive way of storing and displaying things at home, in retail environments, or within hotel rooms, the striking cabinets appear as a cross between art installation and museum display units.Launched in Milan were new pieces for the Eos outdoor collection by British designer Matthew Hilton. The new additions consist of side table, side chair, lounge chair, bench and sun lounger. Ready for Summer, Hilton has extended the range of simple outdoor furniture for Case to offer lounge furniture and additional seating options. Constructed in powder coated aluminium, the Eos range additions join three slimline designs; a square and rectangular table and a chair.

Having shown during the London Design Festival 2012 with designjunction, Case joined an edit of brands for the Milan show. A carefully curated exhibition, designjunction featured a select group of global brands with a focus on quality, authentic design. Edit was shown within the striking La Pelota venue, a renowned space which over the years has housed some of the most creative and inspiring events in Italy.

What people said

"Case Furniture updated the display cabinet – a piece that curiously has been out of fashion amongst furniture makers for soooo long. Trying to find a vintage cabinet is like looking for gold, you can never find them as they’re always snapped up by professional shop fitters! I loved the pop of Orange in this piece although you can choose other colours."
