Loop Floor Mirror

Creating a smooth, continuous line, the Loop Floor Mirror suspends a tall pane of mirrored glass within a beautifully curved birch and oak veneer frame. A modern leaning design by Nazanin Kamali enables this floor mirror to effortlessly fit within any space but to our mind it is the ideal piece for the bedroom when getting ready.

Formed from birch ply, the Loop takes its name from the seamless line of its curved frame which also allows the piece to simply lean against the wall. Hanging along the back of the Loop is a large sheet of glass, the gap between the base of the mirror and the frame further accentuating these elegant lines.

The Loop Floor Mirror leans against the wall with its self supporting foot. Made from formed birch ply, it is available in a fineline oak or walnut veneer.

Care notes for the Loop Floor Mirror

  • Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood, moving in the direction of the grain.
  • Dry the wood using a second non-abrasive cloth. Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
  • You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, but polishing can restore the wood’s natural shine if it begins to look dull.
  • Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood.

Nazanin Kamali

A postgraduate of the Royal College of Art where she had studied furniture design, Nazanin Kamali established Non Specific Creativity in the early 1990s; a multi-disciplined design collective that worked on a diverse variety of design projects ranging from restaurant design to art installations.

She later joined retail design company Aero as the creative director before setting up Newman + Kamali with Paul Newman in 2000 (which subsequently became iNK), designing and supplying retailers such as the Conran Shop, Heals, Crate & Barrel, SCP and John Lewis.

Nazanin Kamali's work included new product development and design, the refurbishment of Aero’s London stores and the exhibition design for the international design exhibitions Cologne, Frankfurt, New York and 100% Design London.

Whilst at Aero she also managed the entire merchandising operation of the business from the sourcing and buying-in of product right through to in store display and packaging. In 2000 she began a new venture, setting up Newman + Kamali in collaboration with Paul Newman and subsequently INK (Interior Newman and Kamali).

Since Nazanin Kamali began working with Case in 2005, she has produced a beautifully simplistic range of products including Omid and Loop. As a founding designer for Case Furniture her contemporary designs reflected the attention to precision detail found in Japanese arts, while her bespoke craft commissions are characterised by high levels of craftsmanship and intricate forms.
